The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds has published the open Call for Proposals “Strengthening the Regional Ecosystem for Entrepreneurs in Assisted and Mountainous Areas” (IP.1.2.06) under the Integrated Territorial Programme 2021–2027, financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Purpose of the Call
The Call aims to encourage the growth and development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the development of regional value chains in Adriatic, Northern and Pannonian Croatia. The objective is to increase the attractiveness of assisted and mountainous areas for investment and to provide higher-quality business infrastructure for entrepreneurs.
Subject of Funding
Grant funds are intended for projects that include:
construction of new entrepreneurial infrastructure,
reconstruction and refurbishment of existing infrastructure,
equipping business infrastructure intended for providing services to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises,
development of specialized business infrastructure contributing to the industrial transition of Adriatic, Northern and Pannonian Croatia.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants under this Call include:
regional self-government units classified in Groups I and II according to the development index,
local self-government units classified in Groups I, II, III and IV according to the development index,
companies founded by public law entities,
micro, small and medium-sized enterprises,
large enterprises.
Financial Allocation
Total allocation of the Call: EUR 66,000,000.00
Minimum grant amount per project: EUR 500,000.00
Maximum grant amount per project: EUR 6,000,000.00
The amount of support is determined using the funding gap calculation method and may amount to up to 100% of the calculated funding gap, subject to compliance with the conditions prescribed by the Call.
Eligible Investment Areas
Projects must be implemented in assisted or mountainous areas, and investments must be directed towards the development of entrepreneurial infrastructure that provides services to SMEs and contributes to regional value chains. The infrastructure subject to investment must be entered in the Unified Register of Entrepreneurial Infrastructure (JRPI) no later than one year after project completion.
